About Toy Madness
A lifelong love of collecting turned into a welcoming space for fans of every age.
Our Story Begins with Nostalgia
Toy Madness was born from a lifelong passion for toys, pop culture, and storytelling. What started as a personal journey as a collector grew into something bigger. Today, About Toy Madness is about building a space where memories come alive and new ones are made every day.
As a collector, I’ve always believed the best pieces are more than objects. They carry moments, connections, and a sense of identity. That belief is what shaped this store. Toy Madness is a place where nostalgia toys meet modern collectibles, where longtime collectors and first-time visitors share the same excitement walking through the door.
In Bakersfield, collectibles deserve a home that feels authentic. Not just shelves filled with product, but a store that reflects the culture behind it. Every figure, card, and piece in the shop is chosen with intention. From vintage finds to today’s most sought-after releases, the goal is simple. Create a space where people feel something the moment they step inside.
Our story is rooted in community. The collector community is what keeps this world alive. It is the conversations, the trades, the stories behind each piece, and the shared appreciation for pop culture that make Toy Madness what it is. This is a place where friendships are built over favorite characters, where generations connect through collectibles, and where everyone feels welcome.
Whether you are chasing a grail, introducing your kids to the hobby, or rediscovering something you loved years ago, Toy Madness is built for you. This store stands for passion, authenticity, and the idea that collecting is personal.
About Toy Madness has never been just about selling products. It is about creating a destination for collectors, a home for nostalgia, and a place where the culture continues to grow right here in Bakersfield.
Toy Madness in Bakersfield is like stepping into a collector’s fever dream—and I mean that in the best possible way. This place has EVERYTHING: retro video games, Funko Pops, Labubus (yes, even those), Pokémon cards from every generation, sports cards (baseball, basketball, football, wrestling), action figures, anime merch, Loungefly bags, Hot Wheels… basically, if you can geek out over it, they’ve got it.
Store has a solid Vibe! Each booth is different so make sure to check them all out for different things. They got a wide variety of stuff like Toys, Funko, Pokemon, One Piece, Magic the Gathering, Mystery Boxes, and Comics. Definitely a cool place to check out and explore if you’re a collector.
Came here from a friend’s recommendation and wow the amount and sheer variety of stock floored me. Loved this place, and loved the extensive godzilla collection—it’s great to finally be able to purchase figures from a brick and mortar shop rather than just online; the instant satisfaction is amazing. I will be shopping here again.
